Breast Cancer Awareness Month with B4BC

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re highlighting MERGE4 collaborator, Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC.) B4BC is a non-profit foundation with a triple focused mission to: 

• Prepare young people with education on early detection. 
• Promote the importance of maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention. 

• Provide survivor support for those affected by breast cancer. 

B4BC tackles their mission through year-round grass roots, youth focused lifestyle events with their Educational Outreach Experience, Prevention + Awareness Fundraising Events, and Survivorship Programs.  

B4BC has educated over 1,000,000 young people on how to give themselves a breast exam and about the importance of early detection and a healthy lifestyle. They work with and give back to like-minded organizations to help with fund raising and research advancements and have awarded over 200 grants to young breast cancer patients and survivors to attend Chasing Sunshine Wellness Retreats.
