World Down Syndrome Day

March 21st is #WorldDownSydromeDay and we're proud to shine the spotlight on our amazing friend, competitive swimmer and MERGE4 brand ambassador, Jane Evans.

Jane's favorite thing to say to get pumped up before a big swim meet is "I have Down Syndrome power!!"

When asked what message she wanted to share for World Down Syndrome Day, Jane said she wanted people with Down Syndrome to know that they can do anything they want. Rock your socks today for World Down Syndrome Day!

MEET JANE EVANS

When not in high school or doing CrossFit with her personal trainer, MERGE4 brand ambassador Jane Evans swims competitively at the national level. Not only is she a serious athlete, Jane also has a heart of gold. When she took first place in a recent USA Down Syndrome Swimming qualifying event this past week, she turned to her competitor and gave him a hug after the race. Jane says she values good sportsmanship above all else and 'feels full of love' when she competes. When asked what message she wanted to share for World Down Syndrome Day, Jane said she wanted people with Down Syndrome to know that they can do anything they want.

This year, the theme for World Down Syndrome Day is inclusion. And what better way to celebrate inclusion than shining the spotlight on our amazing friend Jane and how she promotes inclusion within competitive swimming.

Jane recently qualified for the Down Syndrome International Swimming Organization's World Championships and will be heading off to compete in Portugal this October!

We couldn't be prouder to have Jane rocking MERGE4 socks as she takes on the world and helps spread joy to everyone she meets.
