Our 2021 winner has been chosen! Check back next year to enter your artwork.
High school students across the US are invited to submit their original artwork via Instagram for a chance to get their art on socks! The winner will receive an epic prize pack, their design will go into production and proceeds will benefit their school's art program.
to enter:
1. upload your art to instagram
Post a photo of your original artwork following the guidelines below. Don't worry about making it sock-shaped - you can leave that to us.
2. Tag @merge4socks
Be sure to tag MERGE4 so we can see your epic artwork! Your design will also be displayed on our online gallery for the world to see.
3. Hashtag it!
Don't forget to use the hashtag #fuelthefuture2021 to be officially entered into the contest.

art guidelines
- Format: Artwork with a general vertical orientation is best since your art will be transferred onto socks.
- Not allowed: Trademarked or copyrighted material, business or brand logos, images of celebrities, professionals, sports team logos or mascots, nudity, images of weapons / violence, images referencing drugs, alcohol or smoking, offensive content, obscenity or hate.

All that's left to do is get your art out there! The winner of the Fuel the Future Contest will not only get their art on socks, a portion of the proceeds from their design will benefit their school's art program, AND they'll be hooked up with an epic prize pack.

What's the criteria for judging? Designs are judged based on creativity, originality and
overall execution.
Can I submit more than one design?
Yes! You may submit as many designs as you’d like.
Do I have to make my artwork sock-shaped? Nope! Just submit your artwork as-is and we'll find a way to put it on socks.
Why was my design rejected?
Check out the art guidelines and make sure your art doesn't contained material that's not allowed. We reserve the right to reject any image.
