MERGE4 was built on the foundation of using business as a force for doing good in the world. We put our hearts, our hands and our resources into this core aspect of our brand. We've partnered with some amazing nonprofits championing noble causes - from endangered species to pediatric transplant programs.
Jane Goodall Foundation
MERGE4, actively supports the Jane Goodall Foundation in its mission to protect chimpanzees and promote species conservation. Inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall's groundbreaking work and her holistic approach to conservation, MERGE4 has dedicated a portion of the proceeds from their specially designed Jane Goodall socks to directly benefit the Jane Goodall Foundation. By wearing these socks, customers not only contribute to the preservation of our closest living relatives, the chimpanzees, but also actively support the Foundation's efforts to address the needs of local communities and the environment. MERGE4's collaboration with the Jane Goodall Foundation demonstrates our commitment to making a positive impact and fostering a sustainable future for wildlife and the planet.
stanford's
Lucile Packard Children's Hospital
Close to our hearts, and at the center of our dedication to giving back, is our team up with Lucile Packard’s Children’s Hospital. Proceeds from sales of all MERGE4 products go towards putting socks (and happiness) on the feet of children at Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital who are there for extended care with a focus on transplants.
Knowing a thing or two about transplants (our founder gave a kidney to her brother – don’t tell her we told you!) has taught us that it can really take the stuffing out of you, not to mention dampen spirits at a time when you need them at their highest.
Each pair of socks you purchase helps put a smile on a child’s face as well as a pair of super comfy socks on your feet and theirs. Win – win! And we get to be the facilitator in all this which pretty much puts a perma-smile on our faces. Smiles all around.
In addition to helping out these amazing kids in their time of need, our partnership with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital has provided us with opportunities to involve our amazing collaborators. By sharing their art, music, and passion for sports and life, our collaborators bring vibrant experiences that spark hope and creativity. From Sock Blocs to concerts and art sessions, we’ve been blessed to facilitate these interactions and witness the happiness they offer. We’ve even been able to turn the children’s art from these sessions into socks! Thank you for your purchase, and for your part in the impact we will have as our company continues to grow.
Tim brauch foundation
In honor of the late skateboarding legend, Tim Brauch, the foundation brings kids to the Woodward West skateboard camp. Scholarship funds are raised through two annual contests in California, the Tim Brauch Foundation Skateboard Contests at the Lake Cunningham Regional Skatepark in San Jose, and at the Tim Brauch Memorial Skate Park in Scotts Valley. MERGE4 thanks you for helping us support the next generation of skateboarders.
the nowell family foundation's
bradley's house
In our continuing collaboration with Sublime, MERGE4 is honored to support and sock-Bradley’s House. Inspired by late Sublime front man Bradley Nowell, the Nowell Family Foundation provides addiction recovery services to the music community.
The Nowell Family Foundation is raising funds to open Bradley’s House, a six-bed recovery facility that will provide treatment for people in the music industry with opiate addiction, regardless of their financial situation. The goal is to offer a top level of clinical care, including medical detox and the ability to treat the most acute cases, through nationwide partnerships.
