Celebrating 60 Years of The Endless Summer with MERGE4 at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
MERGE4 was amped to be part of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk’s celebration of the 60th anniversary of The Endless Summer! The event was a blast, bringing together the chill vibes of Bruce Brown’s surf classic with the lively energy of the Boardwalk for a night everyone will remember.
The movie was screened right on the beach on July 12th—talk about the perfect setting! With the sound of the waves in the background and the open sky above, it was the ultimate way to experience The Endless Summer again (or for the first time). Before the film, people had the chance to meet some true surf legends. Endless Summer II's Robert "Wingnut" Weaver, big wave hero Jeff Clark, and our own Jimbo Phillips were there, spreading the stoke. Jimbo, who reimagined the classic Endless Summer art, even hosted a poster signing at The Walk, making the night extra special.
MERGE4 was excited to team up with The Endless Summer to create some exclusive designs for the event. But the real highlight? Our custom Endless Summer Original t-shirt, featuring the iconic art with a cool twist—the silhouette of the Boardwalk worked right into the design. This exclusive shirt is the perfect way to keep the endless summer vibes alive, and you can grab it right now at The Walk, the Boardwalk’s shop!
Cruise through the Boardwalk, and you'll spot MERGE4 socks repping all the iconic rides—like the Giant Dipper, Haunted Castle, Wipe Out, Cave Train, Neptune's Kingdom's Golf, Logger's Revenge, and more! Each pair features unique art inspired by these classic attractions, making them the perfect souvenir for anyone who loves Santa Cruz. This collab is all about MERGE4’s deep connection to surf culture and the local community, showing off our dedication to keeping the Santa Cruz stoke alive!
So, if you missed the event, don’t sweat it—you can still snag this awesome custom tee, MERGE4 socks featuring rides and keep the surf vibes going strong.
