Celebrating the Special Olympics Northern California Regional Golf Tournament!
This year's Northern California Regional Special Olympics Golf Tournament was held at Los Lagos Golf Course in San Jose, CA. The tournament brought together incredible athletes who showcased their skills in putting, chipping, and driving, thanks to dedicated Monday night practices that begin in June. A huge shout-out to Timmy and Jamie at DeLaveaga Golf Course for providing excellent practice facilities to help these athletes prepare for the main event!
On September 6th, athletes took to the course for alternate shots with their coaches, playing a full 9-hole round. It was inspiring to see the dedication and teamwork on display, and the event was a great success with many athletes earning ribbons and medals, including numerous Golds!
MERGE4 was proud to support the event by providing socks for all of the participating athletes. A special thank you to the volunteer coaches who made this event possible, including our own Logistics Manager, Chris Busenhart, for his commitment and hard work with the athletes.
