Celebrating with the Nowell Family at Oceanside: MERGE4 Joins the Sublime Family Jam

This past May 11, the Oceanside Museum of Art buzzed with excitement as the Nowell Family Foundation hosted the first annual Sublime Family Jam, a benefit concert and celebration supporting their mission. It was an incredible honor for MERGE4 to be part of this heartfelt event. 

The Sublime Family Jam marked a significant milestone for the Nowell Family Foundation. Founded by Bradley Nowell’s father, Jim “Papa” Nowell, and sister, Kellie Nowell, the foundation aims to bring awareness to addiction and mental health issues and provide treatment resources through initiatives like "Bradley's House" – an elevated sobriety home for musicians. The event was not just a concert but a full-blown celebration featuring live performances, DJ sets curated by Bradley’s widow, Troy Dendekker, and special appearances by Jakob Nowell and Eric Wilson of Sublime.

As a brand deeply rooted in the spirit of music and community, MERGE4 proudly showcased some of our favorite Sublime-themed socks, including the iconic "Sublime Sun," "40oz to Freedom," "Bad Fish," "Mind Blown," "Sublime Sun Pink," and "Sublime Chaz" designs. These socks not only represent the band's legendary music but also support the ongoing efforts of the Nowell Family Foundation to combat addiction and support mental health.

The event brought together an incredible mix of music, art, and community spirit. Attendees enjoyed a rare exhibition of Sublime memorabilia, delicious food, and beverages, all while supporting a great cause. The atmosphere was a testament to the lasting impact of Bradley Nowell’s legacy and the strength of the community united in the fight against addiction.

For MERGE4, participating in the Sublime Family Jam was more than just an event – it was a chance to stand with an inspiring family and foundation that embodies resilience and hope.
