Honoring Juneteenth

MERGE4 is excited to be honoring Juneteenth as a company paid holiday this year for the first time. We look forward to joining Santa Clara County and other companies in this practice for years to come. We will be observing this holiday on Friday June 18^th.

MERGE4 was happy to see President Biden sign a bill recognizing Juneteenth as a federal holiday on Thursday, June 17^th and celebrate the significance of the end of chattel slavery in the United States.

Vice President Kamala Harris said, “Throughout history, Juneteenth has been known by many names: Jubilee Day, Freedom Day, Liberation Day, Emancipation Day, and today, a national holiday.”
