Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Transplant Party
Last week, the MERGE4 team got to spend some time with pediatric transplant recipients and stoke them out with some socks! Our visit was part of Lucile Packard Children's Hospital annual Transplant Party for kids that have undergone organ transplant procedures. Our awesome collaborators Cole Lemke, Kaia Myall, and Marvin Plummer got the creative energy flowing and facilitated mini-art workshops with the kids. We love the work our partners at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital do for kids!
MERGE4's partnership with Stanford's Lucile Packard Children's Hospital
MERGE4 was created on the foundation of “business for good”. With that comes an intense desire to do good in the world around us. In that spirit we’ve teamed up with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital to bring a little joy into the lives of children awaiting transplants there. (Fun fact: MERGE4's founder and CEO, Cindi Busenhart, donated a kidney to her brother - so transplant organizations are very near and dear to our hearts!). Proceeds from the sales of all MERGE4 socks benefit Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
We also have collab socks with Lucile Packard that go towards the amazing work the pediatric transplant unit does. After a day of doodling and inspiration with MERGE4 collaborators like artists-extraordinaire Jimbo Philips and Scott Greathouse, and photographer Dave Nelson, we created some amazing socks featuring the children’s art from that session. We hope you love them as much as we loved creating them with these awesome kids!
Need some help merging for good? Let us know what good you are trying to bring to the scene and how you would like MERGE4 to help. We do special socks for special reasons.
