MERGE4 at DeLaveaga: Chasing Lines at the Masters Cup
There’s a certain sound at DeLaveaga Disc Golf Course that stays with you.
Chains echoing through the trees.
Footsteps on the brush.
A deep breath before stepping onto the tee pad.
The snap of a clean release cutting through the morning air.

This week, MERGE4 had the honor of creating custom socks for the Professional Disc Golf Association Masters Cup, and there’s no better place for it than DeLa.
This course is part of disc golf history.
The elevation changes. The tunnel shots. The long climbs. The pressure putts under the trees. One great shot can make your day. One bad tree kick can stay in your head all night.
That’s DeLaveaga.
And if you’ve walked this course from start to finish carrying a bag for hours, you know performance matters, especially what’s on your feet.

We were proud to create custom PDGA Masters Cup socks built for long tournament rounds, steep fairways, practice days, and everything that comes with competing at a place like this. Cushioned soles, moisture-wicking comfort, arch support, seamless toes, designed to keep players comfortable from the first drive to the final putt.
But beyond the competition, the Masters Cup is really about the people who make it happen.
The volunteers spotting discs deep in the trees.
The tournament staff keeping everything moving.
The players grinding through every round.
The fans following cards across the hillsides.
There’s a respect that exists at DeLa that’s hard to explain unless you’ve spent time there.

Huge thanks to the entire Professional Disc Golf Association team, the volunteers, tournament staff, and everyone behind this year’s Masters Cup. Events like this take an incredible amount of work, and we’re grateful to have been part of it.
From Santa Cruz roots to one of the most iconic courses in disc golf, this one meant a lot to us.
Check out DeLa. The best of the best.
