MERGE4 at Stagecoach: Wind, Resilience, and the Best Team Out There

This year at Stagecoach Festival was one we won’t forget.
Near the end of Bush’s set, massive winds estimated around 60mph swept through the festival grounds, leading to an evacuation as conditions quickly became unsafe for attendees, vendors, artists, and staff.
Our team evacuated safely along with everyone else.
When we returned the following day, our booth had taken a serious hit from the wind damage. We rebuilt what we could, reset product, reorganized displays, and reopened Sunday, but the festival atmosphere and momentum never fully recovered after the shutdown.
Still, looking back now, the biggest takeaway from Stagecoach 2026 has nothing to do with sales numbers.
It’s the people.
This weekend reminded us exactly who MERGE4 is.

Our crew stayed calm under pressure, supported each other nonstop, adapted in real time, and pushed forward through a situation nobody could control. From rebuilding displays to helping reorganize merchandise to simply keeping spirits high, the team showed unbelievable resilience all weekend long.
And honestly, we walked away realizing we have the best team out there.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by the MERGE4 booth throughout the weekend to shop our performance socks, exclusive Stagecoach hoodies, and limited event tees. Whether you grabbed a pair of socks for the festival, picked up gear for the road trip home, or simply checked in on the team after the evacuation, it meant a lot.
As a small independent brand based in Santa Cruz, events like Stagecoach are more than just festivals for us. They’re an opportunity to connect directly with people who care about music, art, comfort, performance, and community.
That’s what MERGE4 has always been about.

Creating performance socks and apparel designed for long days on your feet — from festivals and concerts to skate sessions, road trips, workouts, and everyday life — while building genuine connections along the way.
Stagecoach tested everyone this year. But it also reminded us how strong a great team can be when things don’t go according to plan.
We’ll remember the winds.
We’ll remember the evacuation.
But more than anything, we’ll remember the people who helped each other through it.
See you next year, Stagecoach.
