MERGE4 Launches Be The Difference Campaign
This weekend, MERGE4 launched a two-fold campaign to encourage voting in the upcoming presidential election. The Santa Cruz-based sock brand is offering a one-time 50% off discount code to anyone that sends in a photo showing that they voted.
“In 2016, nearly 42% of voting-eligible Americans did not vote*,” said MERGE4 CEO and Founder, Cindi Busenhart, “We hope to help close that gap so that more people’s interests are represented through their vote. It doesn’t matter who you vote for… your voice matters and your vote counts!”
MERGE4 collaborators were urged to participate in the brand’s Be The Difference Campaign by taking a pledge to vote on social media:
“I’m taking the MERGE4Good Pledge to Be The Difference and voting on or before November 3rd. Join me by checking your registration status, finding your polling place and casting your ballot. Your voice matters and your vote counts!

In addition to their efforts on social media, MERGE4 has committed to being ‘100% in for democracy’ by encouraging nonpartisan voter participation across 100% of the brand’s employees, collaborators and ambassadors.
Anyone who wants to score MERGE4 socks at a discount is welcome to send in a photo of their ‘I voted’ sticker, dropping off their ballot, or any photo showing they voted via Instagram. The 50% off promotion runs through election day – November 3rd, 2020.
