New Brighton Middle School Surf Team Wraps the Season with Style

We were stoked to be part of the season wrap-up for the New Brighton Middle School Surf Club and Surf Team!

After a packed season of surf contests—from fun waves at Waddell Creek to a big finish at Pleasure Point—these groms crushed it. NBMS racked up the most points at the final contest and kept the energy high all the way through. Some even made it down to Huntington Beach for the Scholastic Surf Series State Championships. Not bad for a middle school team!

We joined the crew for their season-end celebration at the Capitola Jetty—pizza, donuts, and ocean views included—and handed out some socks to keep those post-surf feet cozy. Big thanks to BUELL Wetsuits for donating two wetsuits that were raffled off to some lucky winners.

Huge props to all the sponsors, coaches, and parents who made this season possible. We’re always proud to support the next generation of surfers—and this team brought the stoke every step of the way.
