Rockstar Energy Open: High-Octane Action with MERGE4 in the Mix

The Rockstar Energy Open was nothing short of pure fire! The event was packed with high-energy, and MERGE4 was stoked to be there.

Among the standout moments were Minna Stess and Jordan Santana, who brought their A-game and kept the crowd on the edge of their seats. Their performances were nothing short of inspiring, proving once again why they’re two of the most exciting talents in the sport today.

MERGE4 was happy to be right in the middle of the action, stationed next to Portland's renowned Skateboard Shop Tactics, which boasts four locations. It was a great opportunity to connect with the local skate community and share our passion for top-quality socks. MERGE4 socks were a hit, featured in the swag bags, and the announcers, including Amelia Brodka of Exposure, made sure the crowd got even more of the good stuff by tossing socks from the announcer stand. It was awesome to see so many people walking away with MERGE4 in hand (and on foot)!

We were also excited to have B4BC (Boarding for Breast Cancer) at the event, along with their custom-designed MERGE4 socks. B4BC does incredible work promoting early detection and a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention. Their presence added an important cause to the event, making it even more meaningful.

Exposure, another fantastic organization, was represented as well. Exposure is dedicated to empowering women and girls through skateboarding, and they continue to provide a platform for female skaters to shine, from competitions to mentorship programs. MERGE4 will be at their contest November 2nd! We hope to see you there! Both B4BC and Exposure align perfectly with MERGE4's mission to support communities through positive action, and we were honored to have them involved.

One special shout-out goes to the Minna Stess sock, featuring art by Kayla Caballero, the incredibly talented daughter of legendary skateboarder Steve Caballero. People LOVED this design, combining Kayla’s unique artistic style with the durability and comfort MERGE4 is known for. 

Another highlight we can't forget to mention is the killer commercial that ran in rotation throughout the event, featuring none other than the legendary Eric Dressen. Not only is Eric a skateboarding icon, but he's also the nicest guy EVER, and we were honored to have him represent MERGE4 in the spot. Huge thanks to Mark Owens for crafting a commercial that truly captured the essence of our brand and the high-octane energy of the Rockstar Energy Open.
