Tim Baron's Monster Squad and Astro Zombie Socks Are Almost Gone

We knew these would do well. We didn't think they'd move this fast.

If you don't know Tim Baron, you've probably seen his stuff anyway. He's drawn over a dozen boards for Creature, plus decks for H-Street, Birdhouse, Plan B and Super 8. He did a Tony Hawk board a few years back that sold out, and then Tony and Jason Ellis had him do the Hawk vs. Wolf podcast deck. He's also a huge toy guy. Super7 made action figures out of his own character, the Astro Zombie, which is pretty much the dream if you grew up the way Tim did.

He's from Indiana. He got into art the same way a lot of us did, flipping through Thrasher and staring at Pushead and Jim Phillips graphics until he could draw them from memory. He calls his style "fun-scary," and honestly that's the best way to put it.

So we've got two socks with him. Astro Zombie is his guy, the same one from the Super7 figures. Monster Squad is the old Universal crew done Tim's way: Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy and a few more. Both of them look even better in person.

They also hold up. Tim's art has a lot of detail, and so do MERGE4 socks. They've got a cushioned sole, arch support, and a cuff that stays where it's supposed to. The bottoms pull moisture away so your feet aren't swimming by the end of a session. They hold up.

Halloween's coming up and we're running low on both. If you want a pair, grab them now.
